In April, me and Sam got laid off our jobs because we didn't make enough sales per call on our job as being a Sears credit card activist, right after I posted a transfer request to a different department in my building. My supervisor called my cell and told us while we were sitting in the bus plaza right before work and yes, I cried. A lot.
Thankfully, I still got that transfer into AT&T (cell phone) Customer Service and started training on May 10th. Sam also applied but unfortunately, he didn't get in. After a grueling 10 weeks of the most boring training in my life. I started work as an AT&T Wireless CSR. A few weeks later, our center opened up a Technical Support and I got offered the job and a raise because of how well I did the CSR job. In August, I started my current job of being an AT&T wireless tech support representative. And I am amazing at my job, and more specifically the awesome way I notate anyone's account. I AM THE NOTATION GOD!!!
Also, in June, I got my birthday present from my mom early: the Original iPhone, because she did the upgrade to the newest one, and I joined AT&T after 4 years of being with Cricket, but I got to keep my number! Yay, for porting!
In September, after a long, long year, I broke into Level 19! Go me!
We also had a lot of things that we owe money to:
$700+ to the court--it's down to ~$400,
$700 to our credit card--it went down to $27, then back up to ~$100,
$500 to Paypal--COMPLETELY PAID OFF,
$500 to our stereo system--COMPLETELY PAID OFF,
$500 to Zack's college loans (which is a new discovery)--haven't even started yet,
and a brand new purchase of ~$1,000 to a new 42" TV and an Xbox that Zack purchased with Best Buy credit.
So we were at ~$2,900 and now we're at ~$2,000. ... -.-|l| We really didn't go anywhere.
And speaking of my car! Back in early summer, I went to start my car one Sunday morning and it just made clicking sounds instead of starting...Very horrible. The next day or two later, it started working again. Then we went to go stay with Zack's mom at the Dam and before we left, I started the car, then turned it off really quickly (I'm pretty sure me and Zack were arguing about something) and then when I went back to the car, it did the clicking thing again. It took an hour or 2 to get it to work again, and we drove out there and it worked the entire week. On Friday, we were going to come back to Spokane to help my mom to move to her new place, and Zack's mom took us to Siam Palace for lunch. When we went to leave, GUESS WHAT OUR CAR STARTED DOING AGAIN!!! GRAAAAHHH!!!! It didn't start working, even with an attempted jump using 3 different cars. Nothing worked. Around midnight, a Bri's cousin helped push our car up to mom's house, going about 5mph. In June, Sam's dad drove us out there and replaced our starter. We charged our car for an hour using mom's car...AND THE CLICKING CONTINUED!!! So, our car is still there.
Last note, we had Sam and Eric as our roommates. Zack's friend Mike moved in in Feburary and Eric moved out. Last month, when Sam no longer had any money for rent because he hadn't found a job yet after being laid off. Then, Mike, who was great at first, then became a total and complete asshole, and then when Sam moved out and Mike finally got to have his own room (after living in the living room for months) he became a good person/friend/roommate again. Joy! Then he got fired 2-3 weeks ago for engaging in sexual activities at work (with his boss's boss), and he had to move out about a week later because he had a great opportunity to go back to the Dam where his parents lived and he took it, of course. So, also of course, I need a cheaper place cuz I now pay for everything by myself, and Zack still hasn't found a job yet! I don't know how with everywhere he applies to?! But anyway, Rent=$745, Avista=usually under $100, and Comcast=$130. Definitely need somewhere cheaper...
SO! That is what has been going on in my life since my last journal. And last of all, at about 7pm this evening of Halloween, it will be my 1 year wedding anniversary!!! OMG! I'm so happy! So, of course I'm not working today and I'm probably going to be home all day! So happy. I'm also a pirate this year! I've never been a pirate before so I'm excited and I actually look good in it, even though the costume is made by Leg Avenue. Thank you Shelby for discount!
